This landmark event will bring together key stakeholders from across Europe to explore innovative solutions for sustainable, inclusive, and resilient urban development in the Mediterranean region.

As part of the broader New European Bauhaus (NEB) initiative, the conference will serve as a platform to showcase the project’s achievements and foster dialogue among policymakers, researchers, innovators, and local authorities. The event will highlight how interdisciplinary collaboration and participatory approaches can transform cities into greener, more inclusive, and aesthetically enriched environments.

Over two days, participants will engage in a dynamic programme combining keynote insights, thematic panels, project presentations, and networking opportunities. The conference will focus on four core thematic pillars that define the Bauhaus4Med vision:

  • Urban Green Transformation
  • Democracy & Participation
  • Aesthetic Green Architecture
  • Climate Neutral & Resilient Societies

Special emphasis will be placed on the project’s pilot actions, demonstrating real-world applications of NEB principles, as well as on the digital participatory tools developed to empower communities and enhance inclusive decision-making processes.

The event will also feature the Bauhaus4Med Sprint Event, presenting innovative ideas and solutions generated during the project, alongside discussions on future collaboration and policy directions.

Hosted in the heart of Florence, the NANA BIANCA Innovation Center provides an inspiring setting that reflects the spirit of creativity and innovation at the core of the New European Bauhaus.
