Burgas Municipality is dedicated to enhancing urban sustainability and climate resilience through the implementation of several innovative projects. Their role in BAUHAUS4MED includes organizing local participatory methods for citizen involvement, developing a regional green transformation strategy, and providing input for collaborations with other projects.
The City of Sarajevo, committed to sustainable development and active citizen involvement, brings expertise in urban planning and green initiatives, while through its various implemented projects it showcases a highly innovative character. In BAUHAUS4MED, Sarajevo will lead regional activities, and drive community-focused green transformation strategies.
Crowdpolicy, is a leader in Govtech, Fintech, and Open Innovation and has developed multiple platforms for social and investment crowdfunding in Greece, while it specializes in facilitating crowdsourcing in the public sector. In BAUHAUS4MED, Crowdpolicy will serve as an expert digital crowdsourcing tools partner and the project’s Communication Coordinator.
E-zavod, with over 15 years of experience, specializes in integrating European policies to improve quality of life through sustainable innovation. E-zavod has a solid track record in managing significant EU projects and as the lead partner of this project it is responsible for ensuring its strategic and impactful implementation.
IFLA Europe, representing 34 National Associations of Landscape Architects, brings expertise in ecological sustainability, cultural heritage, and community well-being. In BAUHAUS4MED, IFLA will lead initiatives to enhance dialogue and visibility by organizing New European Bauhaus conferences, showcasing the project’s initiatives, and hosting events across partner countries.
SVEM (Marche Region) excels in tackling green, digital, and societal challenges. Renowned for its success in sustainability projects such as climate adaptation and circular economy initiatives, SVEM’s expertise is vital for the BAUHAUS4MED project. SVEM will coordinate the establishment of the Green Planetary Mindset Local Nodes as well as the use of carbon footprint monitoring tools.
Platoniq Foundation, pioneers match-funding programs with various institutions and leads innovative initiatives, merging civic crowdfunding with digital participation platforms to enhance public engagement and policy innovation. In BAUHAUS4MED, they will apply their expertise to design digital tools and crowdsourcing strategies for democratic governance.
The Region of Central Macedonia (RCM), contributing 17% to Greece’s GDP and population, excels in economic growth, environmental stewardship, and cultural preservation. Regarding BAUHAUS4MED, RCM will lead regional efforts, focusing on green transformation and community engagement through pilot projects and strategic planning.
The Tuscany region prioritizes environmental sustainability in its development, implementing numerous plans for better landscape and ecosystem management, with a strong track record in 97 EU projects. In BAUHAUS4MED, Tuscany will lead regional efforts, enhance citizen participation, develop green strategies, and support major community projects.
The Faculty of Architecture at the University of Zagreb, excels in sustainable urban development. In BAUHAUS4MED, it will utilize its expertise in sustainable building and planning to provide training, support implementation, and help regions and cities devise essential transformation strategies for sustainable growth.
